01Introduction
These terms govern services provided by TheHeroes Agency through this website. By booking a discovery call, paying a deposit, or using our services, you agree to the terms relevant to that activity. A discovery call alone does not commit you to a paid project.
Your written proposal, invoice, and agreed project scope confirm the services you are purchasing. Nothing in these terms removes rights or remedies that cannot be excluded under applicable law.
02Our commitment
We value every client relationship. We respect your work, your audience, and your goals, and delivering quality is our priority. These terms help us keep every project clear, organized, and fair for both sides.

The exact services, deliverables, price, and timeline are confirmed in a written proposal, invoice, or project scope before work begins.
04Project scope
Each package includes only the deliverables listed in the selected package or written proposal. Requests outside that scope may require an additional fee and may affect delivery dates. Scope changes, additional costs, and revised timelines must be confirmed in writing before the additional work begins.
05Client responsibilities
To keep your project moving, please provide:
- Book details, your author bio, professional photo, and book cover
- Retailer, preorder, booking, and website links
- Brand assets, genuine testimonials, and existing content where available
- Appropriate access to your domain, website, email platform, and other required accounts
- Feedback and approvals within the agreed review period
You are responsible for having permission to use the materials you supply. Delays in materials, feedback, access, or approvals may delay the project. Where possible, grant collaborator access rather than sharing passwords.
06Timelines and rush delivery
Estimated timelines begin after the deposit is received and required access and materials are provided. They depend on timely feedback and approvals.
- Book presence: approximately 2 weeks
- Reader-to-client system: approximately 3 weeks
- Book launch platform: approximately 4 weeks
Need it faster? Rush delivery may be available for an additional $150, subject to availability. The exact delivery date will be confirmed in writing before payment.
07Payments
Unless your written agreement states otherwise, the standard payment schedule for Book presence and Reader-to-client system is:
- 40% deposit to reserve the project
- 30% at design and content approval
- 30% before launch, delivery, or handover
For the Book launch platform, choose three payments of $1,833.33, $1,833.33, and $1,833.34 (total $5,500), or 50% deposit and 50% before launch. One-off add-ons and rush delivery increase the total; monthly services are billed separately. Your invoice confirms the agreed total and payment dates. Late payments may pause work until the balance is received.
08Revisions
Unlimited revisions within the agreed scope. New pages, new email sequences, major changes in direction, or other work outside the agreed scope may require an additional fee and a revised timeline, confirmed in writing.
Revisions refine the agreed deliverables. They do not add new deliverables or replace the agreed project with a different project.
09Third-party tools
Projects may use website builders, email marketing tools, payment processors, analytics tools, stock libraries, fonts, plugins, and AI or creative tools. Tool choices and any required paid subscriptions are agreed as part of your project.
You are responsible for your own accounts, subscriptions, passwords, and compliance with those providers’ terms. Their availability, features, pricing, and licenses are outside our control.
10Intellectual property and ownership
Once final payment is received, you own the custom deliverables created for your project, including custom website pages, email copy, lead magnets, graphics, and video ads, to the extent those rights can be transferred.
Third-party assets, templates, plugins, fonts, stock media, and platform features remain subject to their original licenses. AI-assisted material may also be subject to provider terms and applicable intellectual property law; exclusive rights cannot be promised where the law does not recognize them.
We may show non-confidential completed work in our portfolio, case studies, and marketing unless you request otherwise in writing. We do not publish private project materials or make unverified claims about your results.
11Results disclaimer
We do not guarantee any specific number of book sales, email subscribers, client inquiries, speaking invitations, revenue, or bestseller status. Results depend on your book, offer, audience, pricing, market conditions, ad budget, implementation, and other factors outside our control.
12Confidentiality
Both parties will keep non-public business information confidential, including unpublished book details, launch plans, private pricing, customer data, and login credentials. Information is shared only with authorized people or service providers as needed for the project, or where disclosure is legally required.
13Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability is limited to the amount paid for the specific project giving rise to the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, including lost profits, lost data, lost opportunities, or business interruption.
This limitation does not apply to liability or statutory rights that cannot legally be excluded or limited.
14Cancellation
Either party may cancel a project in writing. If you cancel after work begins, the deposit and completed work remain payable, subject to applicable law and our Refund policy. Work completed but not yet invoiced may be invoiced. We will explain what has been completed and any balance due.
If we cancel for reasons within our control, we will review any unearned payments under our Refund policy.
15Changes to these terms
We may update these terms occasionally. The current version and its last updated date are posted here. Changes do not retroactively alter an agreed project scope or payment arrangement without your agreement.
